About Us
About us network marketing tip is the whole reason for this journey and the creation for this website. So many are looking to start fresh with their new lives with opening up their own businesses or trying to hold onto the jobs they already have.
My name is Phyllis Lozeau and my husbands name is Robert. My husband had a business background, so he grew up in an environment that it was normal to have family owned businesses. One day Bob decided that he wanted a swimming pool for our growing family of six children. Since we could not afford a vinyl swimming pool, why not learn how to build one? So the foundation was laid and we created the family business. Family and business? There was no such word as "can't" in his vocabulary. In our combination of ignorant enthusiasm and energy, that was the beginning of our journey in our family businesses. In a few short months he realized that I needed to take over the office duties. My nurse education and training taught me the importance of record keeping. Running a household budget is not so different from running a business. Being the mother of six, negotiating with customers and multi tasking was pretty easy for me. Here is a little more insight about us, network marketing tip, that we are sharing and not everyone knows about us. Now consumer marketing was something I did not have any experience at, so I thought. I study people and their habits. I also had time in the early days to study a lot of advertising in magazines. After several years of installing vinyl lined inground pools, Bob went out west and learned how to build Gunite pool construction. A network marketing tip for small business owners, I can give you right now is I realized that other swimming pool companies were all marketing like the manufacturers. All the nuts and bolts. After all they were selling to the men. But women are the ones who initiate the sales of just about everything that is sold. Women buy from emotion. I changed the way we advertised and we took off running. Twenty eight years later we had grown from a one room retail outlet store to three stores, a fleet of equipment and enough work to employ 30 plus. In the winter we had snow removal contracts and built houses until spring and the pool season started up. We marketed pool chemicals by solving pool owners water problems and selling them the chemicals to correct and safely sanitize the water for the season. All this sounds rosy but we know the hardships and triumphs of owning a business. In September of 1978 our commercial building was destroyed by fire. We rebuilt that winter only to face the recession of the Carter years that is the same economy that we are in today. Businesses were failing and filing bankruptcy by the thousands all over the country. By the eighties we failed as well. With our ego's low enough to crawl under a door we retired to Florida. About us and network marketing tip please know, bankruptcy is as emotional as a death of a loved one. Until you are dragged through one you can not understand my previous statement. This grief that lasted day in and day out for years as a constant reminder. Even though it was out of our control we still felt responsible for the failure. But there is hope and life after bankruptcy. Bob went back into sales and swimming pool design. I soon became interested in network marketing, however the home party plan was not appealing to me. I was not comfortable with the "three foot rule". You know the thinking that if someone is breathing they are a prospect. I was very intrigued with the fairness of the network marketing compensation plan. If you did not produce you did not get paid. What a refreshing concept. Not like the job hourly rate where some employees do just enough to get a check and others do more work for the same wage. We have been in and out of four network marketing companies for twenty years. Some required lots of inventory, lugging products to and from consumers. This was not for me. One required multiple licenses. There was a lot of attrition in this due to the continuing education and the expense of keeping compliant with all the regulations. Back charges was a negative for sure. I have found a truly home based business that requires no inventory or licensing. The growth of technology has created an atmosphere of excitement and fear in my generation. People move and families are separated. We are a society connected by cell phones and e-mails. No longer are jobs secure and worked to retirement. We can no longer do business with old tools and expect to succeed. About us and our network marketing tip is to learn and take advantage of technology. Believe me when I tell you that "old dogs can learn new tricks". Technology is something our children cut their teeth on in kindergarten. Our generation was amazed and terrified of cyberspace. I am having the best time learning new things every day.I am seventy five years young and looking forward to a productive and lucrative future. About us and your network marketing tip, this just the beginning. Warm Regards, Phyllis
